Getting started with ConvertNest

What ConvertNest does

ConvertNest helps creators and merchants embed high-converting popups on their websites. Capture emails with free resources, upsell premium digital products, or sell directly — then deliver downloads with branded emails.

Recommended first path

Follow this order for the smoothest launch:

  • Create your account and open the dashboard
  • Use ConvertNest 101 in the header for a guided first-run tour (or start it anytime)
  • Connect your website under Sites
  • Add branding (colors, logo, fonts)
  • Create a free or paid product (file or ebook) — skip if the file is already hosted elsewhere
  • Customize a delivery email template
  • Create a popup from a template or Generate with AI
  • Publish the popup and paste the embed snippet on your site

Free plan

Every new account is on the Free plan: 1 domain, 1,000 unique visitors per month, 500 email sends per month, 1,000 AI credits per month, 2 products, and 2 popups. Create an account and start building. Usage resets each calendar month.

Questions customers ask

How do I replay the product tour?

Click ConvertNest 101 in the app header (before Help). New accounts see the tour automatically. Branding and Popups are highlighted in the sidebar — click the link (or Next) to open the page, then follow the highlighted action.

Can I ask product questions in the app?

Yes. Use Ask ConvertNest in the app header (after ConvertNest 101). Answers come from Help Center articles and include a link to the matching doc. Asking questions does not use AI credits. Send Feedback from the side tab for issues and ideas.

Do my website visitors need a ConvertNest account?

No. Visitors interact only with your popup and never sign up for ConvertNest. You are the merchant; they are your leads and customers.

How long does setup usually take?

Most merchants can connect a site, pick a template, and publish a first lead magnet in 30–60 minutes if branding and a free file are ready.

Can I use ConvertNest on WordPress, Shopify, or Webflow?

Yes. ConvertNest works with any site that can load a script tag. For WordPress step-by-step install, see the WordPress install guide. Shopify, Webflow, and custom sites use the same per-popup snippet from Embed after you publish.

What should I launch first — free lead magnet or paid offer?

Start with a free lead magnet if you need an email list. Use free + premium when you already have a paid upgrade. Use direct purchase when the popup’s only job is checkout.
